Our Story
In 2006, a state of the art cement facility was designed to meet the needs of the growing Florida market. Through the partnership of CRH's Oldcastle Materials, Inc. and Trap Rock Industries, Inc., American Cement Company, LLC was formed. The Sumterville Plant was innovatively designed to be cost efficient and able to produce 1.2 million short tons of cement per year. With the use of cutting edge technology and the collective expertise of our employees we produce a high quality product that is distributed throughout Florida.

American Cement Company is strategically located in Sumterville, Florida in close proximity to the I-4 corridor (Tampa to Orlando) in one of the state's fastest growing regions. We are excited with the prospect of delivering quality products and service that will contribute to Florida's future.
